ACT Program Assistant

Join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team as a Program Assistant and support a multidisciplinary team that provides critical mental health services to individuals in need. ACT Program Assistant Location: | Glen Cove Full-Time | Non-exempt Monday–Friday Salary: $25 - $30 per hour About the Role The ACT Program Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the ACT team. You will provide direct support to clinical staff in both the office and the field, serve as a liaison with program participants, and participate in team meetings. This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational skills, comfort with data and technology, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do + Support team operations through daily communication, visit tracking, and coordination of transportation for program participants. + Assist in care coordination and treatment planning efforts. + Maintain organized and accurate medical and program records. + Manage documentation using internal systems (e.g., CAIRS). + Track and reconcile program-related expenses, including service dollars and credit card usage. + Perform reception and communication duties, including triaging calls, scanning, and faxing. + Utilize and oversee access to program databases and platforms (e.g., PSYCKES, HEALTHIX, EPACES). + Contribute to team projects and special assignments as needed. What You Need + Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years of administrative or office support experience + Strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills + Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and with diverse groups + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems Why Join Us?
