We are proud to deliver compassionate, community-based care across Nassau County through our OMH-licensed Flex Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Flex ACT Assistant Team Leader to support the Team Lead in managing a mobile, multidisciplinary team serving adults with serious mental illness. This role blends clinical oversight, staff supervision, and direct service in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Key Responsibilities + Support daily team operations and care coordination + Provide clinical supervision and direction to team members + Conduct side-by-side, field-based visits with staff and recipients + Participate in treatment planning and team meetings + Deliver direct services to recipients as part of the clinical team + Guide staff in implementing and documenting Individual Action Plans (IAPs) + Oversee training in life skills, community integration, and self-advocacy + Communicate with families and external providers as needed + Participate in on-call rotation and complete special projects Qualifications + Master’s in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling with current NYS LCSW, LMSW or LMHC license + Minimum two (2) years of experience in behavioral health, preferably with mobile/multidisciplinary teams + Valid NYS Driver’s License and clean driving record + Ability to travel daily throughout Nassau County + Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHRs) Why Join CEC? + Meaningful work in community-based mental health + Supportive leadership and collaborative work environment + Career growth and advancement opportunities + Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits + Ongoing training, supervision, and professional development Ready to Make a Difference?
