\n\nPosition Overview: As a key member of a multidisciplinary program support team, the ideal candidate will provide strategic acquisition and programmatic guidance to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). This role spans the full acquisition lifecycle, from early-phase planning and strategy development to documentation and stakeholder engagement.

\n\nSecurity Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance
\n\nPrimary responsibilities include:
\n\n\n\t\n\tLead acquisition planning and strategy sessions in coordination with government program leads
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tDevelop, review, and maintain acquisition documentation to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with mission priorities
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tApply in-depth knowledge of FAR and DFARS to support the execution of complex R&D programs
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tAssist with scheduling and facilitation of acquisition strategy sessions, technical reviews, and leadership briefings
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tSupport planning, budgeting, and execution documentation across the program lifecycle
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tPrepare program-level reports, briefings, and leadership updates
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tAdvise and coordinate with senior government officials and internal stakeholders
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tMaintain effective communication across technical, financial, and operational teams
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tConduct risk analysis, contribute to strategy development, and support business process improvement initiatives
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tManage records, task tracking systems, and documentation control processes
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tCoordinate and support both virtual and in-person meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and material preparation
\n\t\n\n\nThis position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic federal environment.
\n\nRequired Qualifications:
\n\n\n\t\n\tActive Secret Clearance
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tBachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tMinimum of 5 years of experience in federal acquisition or program support roles
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tFamiliarity with the full acquisition lifecycle and related federal regulations
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tExperience supporting senior government officials in a fast-paced environment
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tAbility to learn and adapt to new software and internal systems
\n\t\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:
\n\n\n\t\n\tExperience supporting research and development programs within the federal or defense sector
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tKnowledge of planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) processes
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tFamiliarity with various acquisition funding mechanisms (e.g., OTA, BAA, MIPR)
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tPrior work supporting DTRA or other national security-focused agencies
\n\t\n\n\n\n\t\n\tCompletion of formal acquisition-related training or coursework (DAU or equivalent)
