Job Descriptions: JOB DESCRIPTION: Able to perform the following kinds of functions to include but not limited to: performing in-depth research, reconciling complex data/information across multiple systems and reports, interpreting information to generate multiple recommended courses of action, building staffing packages, comprehending and applying concepts/guidance, effectively implementing instructions/policies into routine performance, and developing tools/applications to foster efficiency in day-to-day activities Relevant areas of expertise limited to the following: Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: + The Contractor shall assist the Government on planning and coordinating infrastructure projects and requirements. The Contractor shall lead efforts to establish capabilities at various locations, at both unclassified and classified levels. + The Contractor shall assist with management of the portfolio by providing information, advice, and recommendations for the effective alignment of portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding. The Contractor shall advise and assist program managers to identify and minimize the likelihood of interface and integration problems. The Contractor shall coordinate and resolve issues and facilitate team communications. Tasks shall include coordinating resolution of program issues and facilitating effective integration of requirements and efforts with other acquisition and sustainment activities. This may include internal system interface issues, as well as external interface issues with multiple Government or mission partner organizations. + The Contractor shall maintain, update, and analyze the acquisition forecast to ensure current and consistent content and identify any disconnects or deficiencies. The acquisition forecast is a projection of current and future contract efforts, milestones, and key decision points + The Contractor shall incorporate inputs from the force design, operational imperatives, combatant command integrated priority lists, and future force shaping products to deliver recommendations that enhance Government planning and capability + The Contractor shall advise and assist leadership in support of high visibility engagements, commitments, and taskers, to include at the congressional level. The Contractor shall draft, review, coordinate, and process program acquisition information suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, and other program stakeholders. The Contractor shall not release the information without Government approval. SPECIALIZED TOOL EXPERIENCE: + Comp Cost & Req Sys + MAR Reporting Software + Microsoft Off Suite + TMT Required Experience: SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: + 15 years of extensive, relevant experience including duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs + Understanding of mission critical aspects of acquisition and DoD space launch, ground and sustainment and associated projects. + Expected to independently perform all functional duties, even of the lower labor categories, and require no additional functional training. + Knowledge of Higher Headquarters, Air Force, Space Command, processes and procedures as it relates to their functional responsibility and speak/write Air Force and Space Acquisition terminology appropriately + Relevant areas of expertise limited to the following: Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: MA/MS required TRAVEL: NA SECURITY CLEARANCE: U.S. Citizen, TS and SCI Eligible Sigmatech is an EEO employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities. *Contingent upon contract award Keyword: Acquisition Management From: Sigmatech, Inc.
