Job DescriptionLead projects on Noise, Vibration and Building Acoustics, (both internal and environmental) working closely with Project Managers and Project Director.Contribute to environmental projects in Singapore, SE Asia, and Asia (depending on project opportunities) on the Noise and Vibration componentsSupport in conducting Building Acoustics assessmentsBe responsible for writing/ mentoring and reviewing reports and associated technical output with multinational clients and government agencies;Participate in key activities associated with the development of the Noise/ Vibration and Building Acoustics disciplines with the respective leads in each major country/region; attend weekly team meetings and participate in technical knowledge transfer sessions and technical conferencesPerform site visit/inspection/assessment and supervise subcontractors as required for the projects handledSupport other projects in Singapore and other regions as and when requiredSupport team manager in project and proposal management as well as administrative dutiesShall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures of the companyShall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superiorShall perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time

QualificationsMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines (e.g. Civil engineering, Building Physics etc.)Minimum of 3 years of experience in contributing to the noise and vibration chapters in Environmental Impact Assessments, Noise and Vibration Impact Assessments (ideally, for major infrastructure projects and manufacturing/ chemical process industries) and Building Acoustics assessmentsPreferable to have a knowledge of SoundPlan/ CadnaA for environmental noise modelling, EASE/ODEON for room acoustics modellingGraphics skills such as CAD, GIS, Photoshop, will be highly regarded.Knowledge of local and international acoustics codes, laws and regulations will be highly regarded.Excellent technical writing and presentation skillsPossess a track record of winning work, conducting business development and delivering significant value and successful project outcomes.Strong communication skills (writing, speaking, and presentation) are essential qualities to successfully work on our teams with diverse disciplines and cultures.
