MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Field Engineer SME, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the Navy's mission. You will play a crucial role in acoustic signature reduction, enhancing the capabilities of our forces at-sea.
● Perform acoustic signature maintenance and fleet support including pre-trial planning and documentation, equipment installation, conduct of ship surveys and evaluations, equipment removal and analysis of resulting data packages along with recommended corrective actions.

Update/enhance the SUBPAC N42N Data Handling Tool, databases, and appropriate websites as new issues and mitigation techniques are identified and validated.Prepare and deliver briefings to SUBPAC and Ship's Force summarizing acoustic deficiencies and corrective actions.Provide engineering services to revise Fleet Support program TEMPALTs/SHIPALTs to support ship system configurations and modernizations. Provide filed services to perform ship checks, analysis, and test procedure development.Provide detailed technical reports including naval Messages.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Field Engineer SME must have:
● Experience: 20+ years of related experience
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI
● US citizenship required
● Work will primarily be on-site at Navy base, Guam with travel required.
