Accreditation and Regulatory Consultant- Hospital and Home Health
Sentara Health is hiring for an Accreditation and Regulatory Consultant- Hospital and Home Health!

Status: Full-Time, permanent position (40 hours)

Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F. Will travel to all the hospitals, hospice, home health, outpatient pharmacy across the state of Virginia and Northeastean North Carolina.

Location: Will report daily at Sentara Health Centre Pointe in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job responsibilities:

The Consultant is responsible for developing and implementing processes to support system-wide ongoing compliance with Accreditation/regulatory agencies and standards.

Provides consultation to all divisions regarding accreditation and regulatory affairs and compliance.

Key responsibilities include: system resource in accreditation & regulatory requirements & development of policies and procedures, advisement on the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements , sharing knowledge of processes to meet compliance with identified accreditation/regulatory standards, researching and obtaining interpretation of standards compliance requirements, and assisting with the development of processes to support ongoing service readiness.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field REQUIRED

Certification/Licensure:

None required

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years recent accreditation & regulatory experience REQUIRED

Internal candidates with 5 years recent experience in Accreditation & Regulatory Affairs may be substituted for education REQUIRED and must be enrolled in/pursing bachelors degree.

Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards and clinical process improvement concepts is REQUIRED

Clinical experience in a hospital or home health/hospice setting preferred preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$69,742.40-$116,251.20. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
