Accounts Recievable Specialist

\n\t\t\t\t\t

This position reports directly to the AR/AP Manager, and is responsible for applying cash to customer accounts, monitoring rebate programs, and related deductions. This individual must work with key personnel within Deflecto, as well as, contacts at the customer level to achieve positive results toward reaching the company goals regarding Accounts Receivable.\n\nEssential Job Functions include but are not limited to the following:\n• Partner with customers and sales group to resolve payment on aged items and maintain an overall low level of aged customer items.\n• Post customer payments to accounts.\n• Accurately apply rebates/deductions/credits/etc. to customers.\n• Investigate and timely resolve customer disputes/rebates/deductions/customer portal issues.\n• Asks pertinent and relevant questions related to customer activity (RMAs, rebates, disputes, etc.) to ensure proper accountability and business process.\n• Review Customer Portals on a weekly basis to ensure all invoices are processed on customer side as well as capture any new deductions the customers will be taking.\n• Other responsibilities as they may be assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.\n• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance\n• One (1) or more years' experience in Accounts Receivable\n• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel\n• Sage Intacct experience preferred\n• Understanding of the general Accounts Receivable cycle and process\n• Excellent analytical and organizational skills\n• Work well in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment\n• Experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment a plus\n• Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nQualifications and/or Skills Needed\n• Strong desire to collaborate throughout the organization\n• Inquisitive mindset and not afraid to ask questions\n• Excellent analytical and organizational skills\n• Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n• Demonstrated analytical problem solving capacity\n• Adaptable - capable of working in a dynamic changing environment\n• Desire for continuous learning\n• Must continuously maintain the highest degree of integrity and ethical standards

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.50/hr.
