Learn more about how our team is maximizing the power of water: https://wi.st/3vH5OUK We offer: ·Meal Allowance · Professional onboarding and training options · Powerful team looking forward to working with you · Career coaching and development opportunities · Health benefits Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Receivables & Credit, Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable and Credit functions, managing a team, developing collection strategies, resolving discrepancies, implementing process improvements, and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring timely billing, collections, and cash applications while maintaining compliance with internal controls and external regulations. This role leads a team of analysts and coordinators, manages credit risk, and partners with Sales and Finance to optimize working capital and customer relationships. This role will direct initiatives to improve working capital, including account monitoring, aligning AR DSO, and ensuring effective and efficient processing of AR functions. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and firmly direct the department. This position is part of the Finance team located in Tlanepantla, Mexico City, and will be on-site. **In this role, a typical day will look like:** + Manage and support AR team, providing coaching, setting goals, and ensuring performance targets are met. + Supervise daily, monthly, and quarterly billing and collections processes. + Ensure accurate cash application and reconciliation of customer accounts. + Monitor AR aging and proactively address overdue balances and bad debt risks. + Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers. + Set and monitor credit limits, manage order release controls. + Collaborate with Sales to resolve delinquency issues and mitigate financial exposure. + Report on credit risk and uncollectible accounts to senior management + Lead and develop AR Analysts. + Assign customer portfolios and ensure workload balance across the team. + Drive improvements in collection efficiency. + Support ERP transitions and system upgrades (e.g., ASPEL replacement, D365 migration) + Implement strategies to improve cash flow by managing collections of delinquent accounts and ensuring payments are made on time. + Act as a primary point of contact for client billing inquiries, resolving disputes, and maintaining strong relationships. **The essential requirements of the job include:** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. + 5+ years of experience in AR and Credit management, preferably in a multinational environment. + Experience with Finance reports for global companies. + Experience with internal and external audits. + Experience with SOX controls and audit readiness. + Knowledge in Mexican GAAP and Tax requirements. + Previous experience with finance modules in ERP's. + English fluency.
