The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining up-to-date records of customer accounts. This role plays a key part in the financial health of the organization by ensuring cash flow and resolving any billing discrepancies
Key Responsibilities:Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely mannerMonitor accounts to identify outstanding debtsFollow up with customers on overdue payments via phone, email, or mailPost payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepanciesMaintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactionsPrepare regular reports on the status of accounts and collectionsWork closely with the accounting team to resolve billing issuesAssist with month-end closing and audit preparationEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting regulationsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accountingProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamJob Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
