Accounts Receivable Support Clerk
Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining up-to-date records of customer accounts. This role plays a key part in the financial health of the organization by ensuring cash flow and resolving any billing discrepancies Key Responsibilities: + Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner + Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts + Follow up with customers on overdue payments via phone, email, or mail + Post payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies + Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions + Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts and collections + Work closely with the accounting team to resolve billing issues + Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation + Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred + 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Excellent communication and customer service skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
