Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager

We’re seeking a Corporate Skilled Nursing Billing Consultant & Trainer to serve as the subject matter expert on healthcare billing for all Life Plan communities. This high-impact role will help shape process development, ensure best practices and regulatory compliance, and deliver training and consultation across our organization. What You’ll Do: + Lead process reviews, audits, and assessments of skilled nursing billing in communities, and provide actionable feedback and best practices. + Stay current with—and help implement—federal, state, and local healthcare billing regulations. + Develop and maintain engaging, effective billing training materials for a wide audience, from frontline staff to corporate leadership. + Analyze accounts receivable trends and collaborate to drive improvement through strategic guidance and training. + Work with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue cycle software and support billing excellence. + Review denials, ADRs, and appeals to pinpoint opportunities for process or educational improvement. + Serve as a skilled nursing billing subject matter expert during onboarding and exit activities for communities. + Research evolving government payer guidelines to keep training and processes fully compliant. + Participate in committee and task force work that supports company initiatives. Requirements What You Bring: + Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 6 years of related experience (senior living billing strongly preferred). + Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex information simply and clearly. + Proven organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. + Analytical mindset—able to interpret data and make recommendations. + Strong collaboration skills and commitment to high standards of integrity, honesty, and transparency.
