Description ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SUPERVISOR Established East Bay company working in contractor trade industries is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor. The primary responsibilities for this position are trade receivable collections, securing collateral for large transactions, customer receipts postings, determination of customer credit worthiness and credit limits, and working with office staff on tasks related to company requirements. A successful candidate will have effective organizing skills, time management skills, and extreme attention to detail and accuracy. Position reports directly to the Controller. Responsibilities: • Multi-company trade receivable collections and management of customer remittances • Establish, maintain and update customer credit limits and manage customer accounts • Secure collateral for large trade transactions, including pre-lien and lien positions • Manage multi-branch communication/phone systems • Manage company fleet registration, insurance and reporting requirements • Manage company Certificate of Insurance requirements • Reconciliation of company railcar movements (monthly) and filing of annual reports • Filing of miscellaneous annual reports as needed • Company projects as needed Requirements: • 5+ Years of Accounting experience • Experience in Accounts Receivable within the construction industry (or similar) • Experience with MS Office, especially Excel • Working knowledge of pre-lien transactions • Working knowledge of ERP accounting system preferred (MAS200) • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong attention to detail • Strong organizing skills • Experience with intercompany transactions preferred Requirements Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections - Commercial, Cash Applications, Aging Reports, Billing Functions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
