What you will do in this role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist on our team, you will: 

- Create invoices and forecasts using Workday, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

- Monitor the collection of past-due accounts, taking full ownership of issue resolution and follow-up actions.

- Execute credit and collections activities in accordance with established company policies.

- Recommend process improvements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the collections and billing workflow.

- Work independently to manage billing for multiple clients and process final invoices through the financial system.

- Oversee the entire invoice lifecycle for assigned clients, ensuring compliance with contract terms and service agreements.

- Maintain and update contract data within the billing system, with a solid understanding of contract terms, billing components, and invoicing schedules.

- Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner, while proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.

- Provide administrative support for various operational finance projects as needed.

- Are bilingual or proficient in Spanish and English

- Hold a Higher Vocational Training (FP II) qualification in Administration or a related field.

-Bring 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance operations.

- Possess full proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

- Have a methodical, rigorous, and well-organized approach to your work.

- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

- Demonstrate strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.

- Excel in decision-making and have a proactive problem-solving mindset.

- Are accustomed to handling confidential data with discretion and integrity.

- Thrive in a collaborative team environment.

It would be a plus if you:

- Have experience or knowledge in accounting applications, with Workday being a strong plus
