Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong resume in collections, customer service, and accounts reconciliation, and will actively engage with customers to resolve open accounts receivable balances.
Responsibilities
Actively collect open accounts receivable balances by contacting customers and supporting branch personnel.Update the Get Paid AR collection system with customer contact information, notes on account status, and payment arrangements.Respond to customer inquiries and direct issues to the appropriate person for quick resolution.Reconcile accounts and perform administrative tasks as assigned.Establish acceptable payment arrangements and build positive customer relationships.Counsel customers to assist in finding funds to bring accounts current.Generate and respond to written correspondence in a professional manner.Maintain accurate documentation of conversations and arrangements with customers.Manage collection objectives with professionalism and persuasiveness.Recommend next steps for unresponsive or non-performing accounts.Complete skip tracing when customer contact ceases.Collaborate effectively with salespeople, branch personnel, and other team members.Work on unapplied cash to locate payments.Essential Skills
Experience in collections, accounts receivable, customer service, and reconciliation.Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.2+ years of high-volume collections, research, resolution, and de-escalation experience.Comfortable with B2B collections and customer interaction over the phone.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with collecting on large accounts.Eager and excited to learn with the ability to multitask.Salesforce experience preferred.Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is an advantage.Work Environment
The position is based in an office, team-oriented environment with significant growth opportunities. The company is exploring the possibility of an internal points recognition system, allowing employees to redeem points for a variety of items, from small gifts to vacations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
