Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, communicating professionally with customers, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. The ideal candidate brings prior AR or collections experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\nMonitor assigned segments of the accounts receivable aging report and follow up on past-due balances\nContact customers via phone and email to collect outstanding invoices in a professional and courteous manner\nReceive and respond to inbound customer inquiries and payment-related requests\nCommunicate with dispatch and customer service teams regarding customer credit status and account holds\nMonitor customer credit limits and update the system as needed\nCreate, maintain, and update customer account information accurately\nInvestigate, resolve, and document invoice discrepancies in a timely manner\nAdjust and reconcile customer accounts as necessary\nCollaborate proactively with satellite operations to ensure timely and accurate billing information\nAssist with special projects and process improvements as assigned

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boynton Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
