We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support daily receivables operations and ensure timely, accurate financial processing. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable collaborating across teams to maintain efficient billing and collections workflows.
ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.Collaborate with the sales team to resolve issues related to customer invoices and payments.Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes promptly.Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records within the accounting system.Utilize the EPS system to generate invoices and update customer profiles.Enter invoices into various customer portals to support efficient processing.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in collections.Strong background in collections and accounts receivable.Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP.Experience in making collection calls, reconciling aging, and responding to emails and voice messages.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 6 months of experience with Collections/AR.Ability to multitask effectively.Possess a growth mentality.Work EnvironmentThis position is located in Pawcatuck, CT, and is a full-time role. The work environment includes a team of 2 members on accounts receivable, with one team member in CT and an AR Specialist in Fulton, NY. The role offers excellent growth opportunities, including in-depth training in accounts receivable and exposure to all aspects of accounting. There are also growth opportunities in accounting and management as the accounting team in CT is being rebuilt.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
