Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions related to accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts receivable transactions with precision and attention to detail. • Conduct timely and effective collections of outstanding payments from commercial clients. • Apply cash payments accurately to customer accounts, ensuring proper reconciliation. • Handle billing functions, including preparing and sending invoices to clients. • Maintain up-to-date records of accounts receivable activities and payment histories. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address client inquiries. • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize delinquencies. • Generate reports related to accounts receivable and provide insights to management. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial transactions. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related field. • Strong understanding of cash applications and billing processes. • Excellent skills in commercial collections and payment follow-ups. • Proficiency in using financial software and tools. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and reconciliation. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • Familiarity with relevant accounting principles and practices.
