Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to perform various accounting and accounts receivable duties. The ideal candidate will possess a professional image, high attention to detail, and strong communication and customer service skills. You will be dealing with 12 high-profile clients, each with unique needs, requiring tailored approaches to questions and issues.

ResponsibilitiesAudit invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.Research and respond promptly to client and corporate inquiries.Efficiently handle credit card payments and credits, demonstrating knowledge of financial transactions.Proactively adjust client accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.Ensure timely and accurate payment application with persistence and attention to detail.Generate clear and comprehensive client statements.Execute invoice billing with attention to detail.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between corporate and field operations.Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to overall team success.Essential Skills1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable.Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and spreadsheets.Strong research skills.Excellent customer service abilities.Professionalism and cash application skills.High attention to detail and a drive to understand discrepancies.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in consolidating billing and government billing, collections.Non-US cash applications and daily audits experience.ERP experience.Degree in a relevant field.Work Environment

The accounting department consists of 20 people, offering plenty of opportunities for advancement. Initially, you will be required to work on-site at the DTC office until fully trained, approximately 30 days, after which you may work from home one day per week. If you demonstrate proficiency, you may eventually work from home two days per week, typically by the six-month mark. Wednesdays are mandatory onsite. The team fosters a close-knit culture, emphasizing the importance of company culture. They celebrate Accounting Appreciation Week with competitions, challenges, prizes, and outings, and often partake in outside team events like escape rooms. The work environment is pet-friendly, with many employees bringing their dogs and cats to the office.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood Village, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
