Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Description

The Receivables Management Analyst utilizes resources and personal experience to analyze and manage all accounts receivable transactions for assigned accounts. The role involves significant interaction with Owners and Sales Partners to provide solutions that increase receivables turnover and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). This position is integral to the month-end closing process, preparing and analyzing reports to resolve transaction variances.

ResponsibilitiesServe as the single point of contact for Owners and assigned Sales team regarding questions, disputes, cash flow, application activities, and past due balances.Collaborate closely with the Sales team to monitor and manage at-risk sensitive accounts, researching reasons for non-payment and implementing corrective action solutions.Manage the final accounting process for Owners transitioning between product offerings, onboarding, or exiting programs.Ensure accurate and timely reporting for accounts receivable during the month-end process, including preparing the monthly cash-inflow statement and other ad hoc reports.Analyze and audit assigned accounts receivable transactions to ensure compliance with contractual and FAA regulations.Build solid relationships with assigned Owners to effectively reduce the payment turnover cycle.Manage the 60+ day past due report by contacting Owners and, if necessary, involving the Sales team to formulate resolutions. Collaborate with the contracts team to issue non-payment letters and assist management with any legal matters involving Owners.Essential SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers.Understanding of basic accounts receivable practices, processes, and procedures.Interpersonal and negotiating skills, including application of dispute resolution techniques.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Proficient in analyzing financial data to provide advice and make recommendations based on discrepancies and trends.Proficiency in operating personal computers and business software, including intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills.Work Environment

This role requires efficient use of computers and business software, primarily Microsoft Excel. The work involves significant interaction with internal and external customers and requires a high level of attention to detail. The environment is dynamic and may involve handling sensitive accounts and collaborating with various teams to resolve issues.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
