Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and facilitating debt repayment processes, advising customers on necessary actions, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will also play a vital part in special projects and audits.
Responsibilities
Collect accounts receivable and establish repayment schedules based on customers’ financial situations.Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.Document customer contact and status of collections efforts.Facilitate payments by resolving customer issues.Assist with audits and special projects as necessary.Maintain the master receivable information database.Send monthly customer statements.Essential Skills
Experience in accounts receivable and collections.Proficiency in SAP, accounting, finance, invoicing, reconciliation, and cash application.Strong skills in V-lookups and collections customer service.Experience with collection calls, accounts payable, and accounts receivable collections.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of experience as a substitute for a degree.Proficient in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, BPCS, and SAP Software.Work Environment
This is a 6-12 month contract role due to the current AR Specialist's retirement. You will be part of a small team consisting of a Controller, and Accounts Payable and Receivable staff. The company is undergoing an SAP S4/HANA implementation and offers a hybrid work schedule from Tuesday to Thursday. Dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
