Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Title: B2B Collections Specialist Job Description The Collections Specialist is responsible for obtaining payment updates, collecting, maintaining, and ensuring accurate payments for the assigned customer base. This role involves administering timely collection follow-ups and effectively adhering to collection policies to optimize collection efforts. Responsibilities + Generate a high volume of daily outbound collection outreaches via email and voice calls. + Promptly notify management of any customer's unwillingness to adhere to their payment terms. + Maintain over 90% of accounts receivable at 3%. + Pull daily aging reports for the assigned customer base and contact customers with past due balances greater than 30 days. + Document collection efforts, payment status, billing issues, and resolution status. + Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner, both internally and externally. + Document collection efforts in the company ERP system. + Provide additional support to other departments when necessary to resolve customer issues. + Respond promptly to credit hold queues to avoid customer delays at the counter or in order delivery. + Monitor assigned shared accounts receivable credit department email inbox. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of B2B collections experience. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including exposure to VLOOKUP for converting aging reports. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
