Accounts Receivable Specialist
Position Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist- Hybrid Location: Tampa, Florida Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Join a dynamic Credit & Collections team supporting North American operations by managing a large accounts receivable portfolio. This role plays a key part in evaluating creditworthiness, ensuring timely collections, and delivering accurate financial insights to leadership. Key Responsibilities + Oversee monthly AR portfolio and contribute to financial reporting processes. + Analyze customer payment trends to assess credit standing and risk. + Conduct thorough reviews of outstanding receivables and initiate collection efforts. + Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, including pricing issues, allowances, and payment variances. + Maintain accurate documentation, customer correspondence, and account reconciliations. + Collaborate with internal teams across sales, finance, and customer service to identify and resolve root causes of AR issues. + Communicate directly with clients via phone and email regarding receivables, credit analysis, and B2B collections. Required Skills & Experience + Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable. + At least 1 year of B2B collections experience. + Proficiency with mid-to-large ERP systems; SAP preferred. + Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. Education + High School Diploma or GED required. + Associate’s degree preferred. Work Environment This role is based at corporate headquarters, offering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
