Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will play a critical role in managing our accounts receivable processes, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer payments, and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Process and post customer payments, including cash, checks, ACHs, wires, and credit card transactions.Maintain accurate records of receivables and ensure timely entry of payments into the system.Monitor and manage aging reports, proactively contacting past-due customers to resolve outstanding balances.Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, and Trade Promotions teams.Lead collection efforts by analyzing payment history, credit limits, and customer behavior.Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring timely resolution of payment issues.Partner with Sales Representatives to align on customer strategies and support account recovery.Review and track RMA (Return Material Authorization) activity.Collaborate with Customer Service to resolve discrepancies related to location, pricing, restocking fees, and credit issuance.Maintain and update Sales Tax Certificate Exemptions using Excel tracking tools.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to AR processes.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in Full Cycle Accounts Receivable, including Billing, AR, Collections, and Cash Application.Proficiency in Excel, with preference for Pivot Tables.Experience in Account Reconciliation.Strong understanding of AR principles, collections, and reconciliation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
