Job Description
We are seeking an accounts receivable associate at our headquarters to join our dynamic team.
ResponsibilitiesReconcile and process all paper, electronic, and credit card receipts not auto-posted through PeopleSoft and handle payments (checks) not posted through the A/R system.Research unidentified Accounts Receivable checks.Verify all payment information is accurate and applied to proper customer accounts.Utilize web-based image applications.Process and reconcile daily bank deposits (non A/R and A/R).Retrieve, compile, and process all Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs).Research and retrieve Imaged Check Requests.Perform other Accounts Receivable duties upon request.Essential SkillsAccounts receivable expertiseProficiency in payment processingExperience with Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookupsFamiliarity with PeopleSoft applicationsStrong customer service skillsAbility to process bank deposits and reportsAdditional Skills & Qualifications0-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both internal and external customers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Work Environment
This position is based in a cubical environment within a building that houses the AR, HR, and AP departments. You will be part of a team of about 8-10 members. The team is especially team-oriented and values working together. They enjoy lunch together daily and foster a family-like atmosphere. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, in-office only, with no remote options.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
