Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistResponsibilities
+ Review and reconcile outstanding accounts receivable balances.
+ Investigate misapplied or unapplied payments and correct discrepancies.
+ Identify and resolve issues related to overpayments, underpayments, and write-offs.
+ Ensure historical data is accurate and up to date.
+ Accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts.
+ Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices and past due balances.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
+ Perform high-volume data entry with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Contribute to the development and refinement of AR processes and procedures.
+ Recommend and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in accounts receivable processes.
+ Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Experience with aging reports and reconciliation.
+ Effective collection strategies and techniques.
+ Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs.
+ Experience in accounts receivable cleanup projects.
Work Environment
This position requires working within a dynamic team environment, utilizing various technological tools and software to manage accounts receivable processes efficiently. The role may involve standard office hours and dress code, with an emphasis on collaboration and communication with both internal teams and external customers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
