ResponsibilitiesReceive and process cash receipt transactions.Make necessary collection contacts to ensure prompt payment for assigned customers.Review sales orders for pricing accuracy and collaborate with Customer Service to resolve discrepancies.Invoice Butter and Powder sales orders with a high degree of accuracy.Input and process customer deductions for claimed pricing discrepancies, short or mis-shipments, scorecard deductions, and late delivery/loss of sale deductions.Contact customers as needed to resolve payment deductions.Prepare deduction write-offs for approval.Cross-train with other team members to provide backup support during absences.Follow all safety and working rules.Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, management, customers, vendors, and employees.Contribute to a quality work environment with a positive attitude.Ensure excellent regular full-time attendance in support of company objectives.Use initiative and judgment in making decisions aligned with the company's best interests.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Essential SkillsProficiency in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation, and Account Receivable Credit.Experience in Billing, Accounts Payable, Data Entry, Invoicing, and Bookkeeping.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and administrative support.Experience in Invoice Processing and Excel Data Entry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with EDI is preferable.Required experience in Cash Application and B2B collections.High-volume, complex billing experience is preferable.Proficiency in operating personal computers, with knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Ten-key by touch.Experience with an integrated ERP system in customer payment applications is required.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is desirable, though experience in lieu of education will be considered.College-level verbal and written communication skills.Advanced computational and math reasoning skills required.Proficiency in operating equipment effectively after an appropriate break-in period.Excellent written and spoken English.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
