Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a group of companies through a centralized Shared Services model. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports.Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Maintain and update contact databases and process documentation.Post payments, reconcile ledgers, and resolve discrepancies.Communicate with customers regarding overdue invoices and payment plans.Prepare and update complex Excel reports and provide regular status updates.Assist with audits and ensure data accuracy in ERP systems.Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.Support ad hoc projects and cross-functional requests.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED required.2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.Technically skilled to operate in multiple ERP and various systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Knowledge of general accounting principles.Additional Skills & QualificationsEffective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.Analytical skills, in-depth organization, and decision making.High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.Flexibility to assist any of the companies supported by the Shared Services team.Work Environment
Our office space is located in Downtown Austin with a premium, gorgeous view. You will work alongside the AR/Payroll teams in an open concept with cubicles. Enjoy a state-of-the-art workspace equipped with a 'BEVI' machine, catered lunches often, and two separate state-of-the-art kitchens at your disposal. The shared services team consists of 4 A/R Reps assigned to their entity, totaling 14 A/R Reps. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
