Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The role involves reviewing and processing customer invoices to ensure their accuracy and completeness, monitoring aging reports, and actively pursuing collections on customer accounts.

ResponsibilitiesReview and process invoices for customers ensuring accuracy and completeness.Monitor aging reports to identify overdue accounts and follow up with customers for payment.Actively pursue collections on customer accounts.Reconcile discrepancies between payments received and outstanding balances.Process Customer Credit Applications.Accurately post payments to customer accounts.Investigate and resolve payment disputes or discrepancies.Send customer statements monthly.Maintain customer deposits and perform reconciliations with credit card account.Maintain customer sales tax exemptions in Avalara.Understand the accounts payable process and assist when needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounts receivable and collections.Strong understanding of accounting principles.Experience with Microsoft Excel.1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related role.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.Experience with Sage 100 ERP software is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Work Environment

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work onsite within an office setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
