Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage a variety of accounts receivable functions. This role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely communication with clients regarding billing and payments.

ResponsibilitiesHandle daily financial operations including validation, classification, calculation, and entry of receivables.Generate and distribute invoices; prepare and record bank deposits.Reconcile customer accounts to confirm all payments are accurately posted.Address client requests such as invoice reprints and delivery confirmations.Validate rebate information and apply it to customer accounts.Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer concerns.Follow up on outstanding invoices through reminders and direct outreach.Process incoming payments via checks, ACH, and credit cards.Perform daily tasks including ACH entries, check processing, invoice uploads, deposit tracking, and EDI/shipping documentation.Monitor aging reports and resolve overdue balances or credit issues.Maintain organized records of accounts receivable documentation.Send invoices through email, postal mail, and EDI platforms.Keep customer profiles updated in the ERP system.Review and finalize daily billing entries.Conduct collection calls to recover outstanding balances.Match credit memos to corresponding invoices.Draft proposals for potential bad debt write-offs.Support team initiatives and contribute to special projects as needed.Collaborate effectively with internal departments and leadership to meet shared goals.Uphold quality standards and suggest process improvements where applicable.Essential SkillsStrong attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Customer-focused with strong interpersonal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with pivots and lookups.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in accounts receivable, collections, credit memos, cash applications, account reconciliations, and aging reports.Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Epicor, but open to others.Industry experience in Medical Devices preferred but not required.Ability to manage approximately 400 accounts.Willingness to be cross-trained on accounts payable to serve as a backup.Work Environment

This position is fully onsite with a schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves working with a small team where you will be the only person in accounts receivable, reporting directly to a team leader. You will also be cross-trained to serve as backup for accounts payable. The office environment is collaborative, with a focus on achieving shared goals and process improvements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00/yr.
