Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a direct-hire position! In this role, you will manage essential financial operations, including processing payments, billing and invoicing, and generating reports. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts receivable who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy in their work. Responsibilities: • Process incoming payments in compliance with established financial policies and procedures. • Conduct daily financial transactions such as verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable data. • Generate and distribute bills, invoices, and prepare bank deposits as needed. • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accurately recorded. • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain client satisfaction. • Prepare and present financial statements and reports detailing the status of accounts receivable. • Collaborate with team members to optimize accounts receivable processes and ensure compliance. • Utilize accounting software, including Foundation, to manage and track financial records effectively. • Communicate with clients to address payment issues and negotiate resolutions. • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial activities. Requirements • Foundation software experience required for consideration. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, credit practices, and collection regulations. • Proficiency in data entry and the ability to manage financial records with precision. • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software, preferably Foundation. • Expertise in Excel and other Office applications. • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills. • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
