This incumbent will be accountable for Third Party and or Self Pay Billing, Third Party account Follow-up and Maintenance. Daily Resolution of Rejections, Errors, Denials and Payment Discrepancies, Development of Payment Arrangements with Patients, Recommendation for Bad Debt and or Financial Assistance Referrals. Posting of Payments and Development of Bank Deposits. Above all provides Exemplary Customer Service to all Customers. Other Clerical Duties as assigned, including Scanning , Retrieval of Documents and Mail Distribution.
Education requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associates Degree PreferredExperience Requirements:
One to Three Years of Equivalent Experience Preferred.Principle Responsibilities:
The Revenue Cycle Specialist shall follow the departments protocols and initiate specific revenue cycle activities which may include all of the duties and functions listed in the position description.The Revenue Cycle Specialist will at a minimum meet or exceed all agreed upon annual goals with their SupervisorThe Revenue Cycle Specialist will proactively participate in all cross training of all legacy systems and processesThe Revenue Cycle Specialist will be an active participate in any LEAN initiativesPay Range:$17.85 - $23.80
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
