The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for engaging, managing, and working directly with the AR team to improve the activities of the credit and collections departments for the organization. Manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of the Company’s cash collections cycle through design, implementation, maintenance and management of cash to ensure DSO targets are met. This position reports to the Global Controller and is part of the Finance & Accounting department located in Torrance, CA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Manage and lead the AR team and oversee the entire accounts receivable process including billing, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations + Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing and posting of payments + Monitor aging reports to ensure timely collections and follow-up on past due accounts + Manage credit review processes, including completing credit analysis for new accounts, enforcing credit policies and procedures, and daily review/release of order holds + Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Order Management teams to improve customer experience and research and resolve disputes and discrepancies + Ability to support multiple cross-functional projects and identify opportunities to streamline AR process and implement automation tools + Report, analyze trends, and provide insights on AR-related KPI’s; support DSO forecast and actuals The successful candidate will possess: + Credit Risk management knowledge + Strong Microsoft Excel, Word skills The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — or currently enrolled in an accredited four-year degree program + Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, credit, or collections processes + At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role, with direct or indirect team management responsibilities It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Microsoft AX / D365 experience a plus. + Strong collections / reconciliations / negotiation skills. The salary range for this role is $110,000-$122,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
