Key job responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 8-12 cash application specialists, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development to build a high-performing operations team
- Own end-to-end cash application operations for AWS APAC customers, ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments across multiple currencies and payment channels
- Drive operational excellence by establishing and monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics, consistently achieving 95%+ same-day cash application rates and minimizing unapplied cash aging
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Collections, Billing, Treasury, Customer Service, and Technical teams to resolve complex payment discrepancies and system issues
- Analyze payment trends, exception patterns, and aging reports to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions that prevent recurring issues
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accurate cash application, timely resolution of outstanding items, and compliance with financial reporting requirements
