Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately applying incoming customer payments to outstanding invoices and researching payment discrepancies. You will collaborate closely with the accounts receivable team to ensure customer funds are appropriately applied and maintain accurate documentation of all payment application activities. Additionally, you will provide support in preparing accounts receivable-related reports as needed.

Responsibilities

Accurately apply incoming customer payments to outstanding invoices.Research and identify payment discrepancies such as short-pays and unidentified payments.Collaborate with the AR team to ensure customer funds are appropriately applied.Maintain accurate documentation of payment application activity.Provide support in preparing AR-related reports as needed.

Essential Skills

Accounts receivable experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong background in accounting and data entry.Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote role with flexible hours. We offer one position from 8 AM to 4 PM EST and two positions from 9 AM to 5 PM EST. If you outperform current employees, there is the potential for a full-time role after the project.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
