Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Accounts Receivable Coordinator Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Category: Accounts Receivable; Accounting & Finance Employment Type: Full-time About the Opportunity Join a global organization supporting high‑impact, project‑based work. In this outward‑facing role, you’ll collaborate directly with leadership and project managers to drive timely, accurate billing, collections, and cash flow reporting. We’re seeking an AR professional who thrives in fast‑moving, technology‑enabled environments and brings hands‑on Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint experience. What You’ll Do + Manage reporting and processing of royalty income and project‑based AR across multiple business entities. + Monitor aging reports, prepare client‑specific collection plans, and deliver monthly cash flow summaries for senior accounting leaders/CFO. + Investigate invoice discrepancies; resolve issues and issue corrected invoices in coordination with project managers. + Lead tailored, professional collections outreach; analyze unpaid vs. paid invoices; proactively plan upcoming collection efforts. + Prepare AR dashboards, ad hoc analyses for special projects, and executive‑ready reports. + Partner with project management, operations, and leadership to ensure accurate billing setup and timely revenue realization. Must‑Have Skills + Accounts Receivable Expertise: End‑to‑end AR, aging analysis, reconciliation, and collections. + Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint: Hands‑on experience in the AEC context. + Excel Proficiency: Lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, and data cleanup. + Collections Experience: Client‑tailored, professional email outreach with measurable outcomes. + AEC Industry Exposure: Understanding of project‑based billing and contract structures. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or closely related field). + Strong interpersonal communication; confident partnering directly with design leadership and PMs. + Comfortable adopting new technologies and ERP features; quick learner with a process mindset. Work Environment & Schedule + Training: 5 days on‑site initially. + Hybrid: After ramp‑up, 4 days in office / 1 day remote (remote day may vary based on team coverage). + Flexibility: Expect periodic on‑site increases tied to project demands; candidates interested in the role should be open to shifting back to 5 days as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
