Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist-Collections (B2B)
Job Description
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting open accounts receivable (AR) balances. You will actively engage with customers to resolve outstanding balances and support branch personnel in achieving collection objectives.
Responsibilities
Actively contact customers to collect open AR balances and update the Get Paid AR collection system with accurate customer information and account statuses.Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing assistance or directing them to the appropriate person for resolution.Reconcile accounts and perform administrative tasks as needed.Establish and negotiate acceptable payment arrangements and settlements while maintaining a positive relationship with customers.Counsel customers to find funds to bring accounts current.Generate and respond to written correspondence professionally and compliantly.Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions and arrangements.Recommend next steps for unresponsive or non-performing accounts.Conduct skip tracing to locate customers when contact ceases.Collaborate effectively with salespersons, branch personnel, and team members to resolve accounts.Search for payments in unapplied cash.Essential Skills
Experience with collections, accounts receivable, and customer service.Proficiency in account and cash reconciliations, credit analysis, and collection calls.Experience in B2B collections, particularly with large accounts.Ability to multitask and handle high-volume collections.Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Additional Skills & Qualifications
Salesforce experience is preferred.Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is advantageous.2+ years of experience in high-volume collections, research, resolution, and de-escalation.Work Environment
This role is based in an office environment, working collaboratively within a team. Opportunities for growth are abundant as the company continues to expand. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
