The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a key role in driving cash collections on open accounts receivable by partnering closely with internal collections teams and supervisors. This role focuses on sending customer statements and invoices, resolving disputes, and supporting accurate cash application to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with collectors and collection supervisors to drive cash collections for open ARSend customer statements and invoices accurately and on timeSupport end‑to‑end dispute resolution related to accounts receivableResearch and resolve trade surcharge disputesPull and review Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation as neededCollaborate with commercial teams to resolve pricing issuesWork with credit teams to resolve cash application discrepanciesTrack and follow up on disputes to ensure timely resolutionProvide professional support for customer inquiries related to invoices and account statusMonitor open AR and escalate issues when appropriatePerform basic analysis to identify discrepancies and trendsRequirementsExperience in finance, accounting, accounts receivable, or collections1+ year of analytical experience working with data and discrepancies1+ year of AR, credit, collections, billing, or cash application experience (or equivalent exposure)SAP experience preferred but not requiredBachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentRecent Accounting/Finance graduates are encouraged to applyJob Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Eagan, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
