The Accounts Receivable Clerk II is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of incoming payments across all lines of business. Key duties include:
Balancing, editing, and posting payment information to customer accounts and invoices.Verifying and posting receipts in compliance with company policies and procedures.Processing Education and Retail Returns, Credit/Debit Adjustments, Transfers, and Refunds to customer accounts.Maintaining accuracy and timeliness in all AR transactions.Supporting PCI compliance and adhering to all security guidelines.Providing backup support to other areas as needed.Performing other duties as assigned, including overtime when required.QualificationsConsistent record of average or above-average attendance and performance.Strong accounting background or excellent mathematical skills.Proficient in alpha and numeric keyboarding with high accuracy and speed.Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.High attention to detail and ability to work independently.Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.Commitment to maintaining PCI compliance and data security.Time Type:Full timeJob Type:RegularJob Family Group:FinanceLocation Region/State:MissouriCompensation Range:Hourly Rate: 17.25 - 18.25EEO Statement:Scholastic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
