Located in the heart of Lisbon’s vibrant Baixa district, along the city’s main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal’s major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).
The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. We are looking for a talented and passionate Accounts Receivable to join our team at Andaz Lisbon.
As Accounts Receivable, you will play an important role in supporting the hotel’s financial operations, ensuring accurate billing, timely collection of payments, and strong collaboration across departments to maintain financial efficiency and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
· Invoice Management: Prepare, review, and issue invoices to guests and clients accurately and on time.
· Payment Tracking: Monitor, record, and post payments received, ensuring correctness and compliance with hotel procedures.
· Credit Management: Assist with customer credit processes in line with hotel policies, including credit applications, reference checks, and credit limits.
· Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and balanced.
· Follow‑Up: Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
· Reporting: Prepare and maintain regular accounts receivable reports, including aging summaries.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate, complete, and well‑organized records of all financial transactions.
· Cross‑Department Communication: Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and effective resolution of billing matters
