We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage an assigned AR portfolio, ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, and support accurate posting of payments. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, experience in collections, and a desire to grow their accounting skill set.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage and maintain an assigned Accounts Receivable portfolio, including oversight of the AR aging report.
+ Conduct outbound collection calls to clients with delinquent accounts and update account status as needed.
+ Collect and accurately enter credit card and ACH payments into company systems.
+ Post payments to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
+ Review accounts to determine next steps for follow‑up and collections.
+ Submit recommendations for account closures or bad debt write-offs when necessary.

Qualifications
+ 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Collections experience (preferred)
+ Experience making outbound customer calls
+ HS Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
+ Strong communication, problem‑solving, and follow‑up skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
