Accounts Receivable Clerk
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Edgewood, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate financial records. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in financial systems. Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts receivable operations, including credit management and collections activities using NetSuite and Excel. • Process financial transactions, account adjustments, and reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis. • Communicate with customers to address unpaid invoices, resolve payment issues, and meet collection goals. • Track, monitor, and document transactions while generating financial and operational reports for management. • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial data entry and promptly address discrepancies. • Utilize Excel and NetSuite to maintain detailed records and support financial analysis. • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection processes and enhance efficiency. • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations during all accounts receivable activities. • Provide insights and recommendations to management for optimizing credit and collection strategies. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit management, and collections. • Proficiency in financial software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis tools. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and cash applications. • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve payment issues. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Familiarity with billing and commercial collections processes. • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in accounts receivable operations.
