Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts receivable processes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment with a focus on growth. Responsibilities: • Process and post cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner. • Handle business-to-business collections with a customer-focused approach. • Apply credits and adjustments to accounts as needed. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including audits. • Maintain organized and accurate records of transactions and account reconciliations. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. • Provide exceptional customer service during collections and account inquiries. • Utilize Syspro and Excel for account management and reporting tasks. • Support overall department goals by contributing to a high-volume workload efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles. • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume workloads. • Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
