Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Franklin, Tennessee. In this role, you will manage critical accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, payment postings, and customer communications. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy to help maintain smooth financial operations. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with customers to address aging accounts and resolve outstanding balances. • Generate and distribute aging reports to customers on a regular basis. • Review and process system-generated invoices daily, while handling ad hoc invoicing tasks. • Assist in preparing documentation and providing support during the annual audit. • Create detailed credit and debit memos, as well as refunds, for approval. • Ensure monthly reconciliations and true-ups are completed accurately and on time. • Participate actively in weekly accounts receivable meetings, contributing updates and insights. • Accurately and completely post payments to the appropriate accounts. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable operations, including invoicing and payment processing. • Strong understanding of cash collections and billing procedures. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping. • Proficiency in accounting systems and tools. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. • Familiarity with audit processes and financial reporting. • Commitment to meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
