Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate
Job Description
This role involves performing standard accounts receivable tasks such as recording, verifying, posting payments, managing invoices, collections, and cash balancing. The Accounts Receivable Associate will support the day-to-day operational activities of the accounts receivable department, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with internal accounting policies.
Responsibilities
Record, verify, and post payments received by the organization.Manage accounting software and systems for invoices and payments.Process and review delivery documentation to ensure accuracy.Support the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department.Essential Skills
Experience in accounts receivable, payment posting, and invoicing.Knowledge in collections and cash balance reconciliation.At least one year of accounting experience.Computer literacy with basic Microsoft Office skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with AS/400 is a plus.Food industry experience is advantageous but not required.Work Environment
The position is 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 40-hour work week and no expected overtime. The Angola facility employs approximately 65 production team members and 10 office staff. The local accounting team consists of an accounting manager, a supervisor, and an accounts payable associate. Most finance operations are handled at the corporate office in Secaucus. The Angola site specializes in producing 35 types of beans for the Northeast US region.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.00 - $42.00/hr.
