Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Associate to join our dynamic finance team. This role involves managing inventory discrepancies, reviewing invoices, generating reports, and handling carrier-related information across multiple portals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of finance and credit concepts. Responsibilities + Manage inventory discrepancies such as shortages and overages. + Review invoices and generate reports. + Handle carrier-related information across multiple portals. + Monitor and respond to customer emails and manage shared inboxes. + Work directly with sales representatives and customer support through designated portals. + Process journal entries to reconcile invoices with corresponding credits or debits. + Review pricing claims and identify missing promotional discounts. + Investigate and resolve freight claims not initially submitted or processed. Essential Skills + Strong knowledge of finance and credit concepts, including basic understanding of commercial/consumer law. + Ability to professionally consult with internal and external customers to resolve complaints. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse partners. + Well organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and demonstrates effective time management skills. + Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility. + Proficiency in accounting, accounts receivable, cash application, finance, collection, Oracle, resolution skills, and Excel pivot tables. Work Environment This role offers work-from-home flexibility after the initial training period. Candidates will be required to be fully onsite during the first two weeks of training. After training, the position will transition to a hybrid model, with four days working from home and one day onsite each week. The specific onsite day will be determined later. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Brookfield, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
