Accounts Receivable Assistant (FTC 12 months)
As an Accounts Receivable Assistant you will play a critical role within the finance function by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer invoicing, cash collection, and account reconciliation activities.

This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the sales ledger, supporting strong cash flow management, and fostering positive relationships with customers through professional and proactive communication.

Key responsibilities include preparing and issuing accurate invoices in accordance with contractual terms, verifying billing data, and ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and compliant with company policies. You will monitor outstanding balances, follows up on overdue accounts, and works closely with customers to resolve payment queries efficiently and professionally.

This role is office based in our St Albans Head Office and fixed term for 12 months.

What we’re looking for: 

Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role

Ability to deal with customers professionally via phone and email

Strong numerical and analytical skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communicator with the ability to multi-task and be adaptable

Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload

Confident using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of ERP systems desirable (e.g. Oracle Cloud Financials)

Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
