An established and growing international business is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join its finance team in Belfast. This is not an entry-level position - the successful candidate will bring 3yrs + of relevant experience.
The Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing monthly invoicing, tracking payments, resolving queries, and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll support the wider finance function by ensuring billing is accurate, timely, and aligned with client contracts and service usage.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue monthly invoices in line with service agreements and usage data
Liaise with internal teams to collect and validate billing information
Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing issues
Reconcile billing records and investigate discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial data and assist with reporting and month-end processes
Respond to client billing queries professionally and promptly
Support onboarding processes for new clients from a billing perspective
What We’re Looking For3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue operations
Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills
High attention to detail and ability to resolve inconsistencies
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams
Adaptable to changing processes, client needs, and billing structures
