Job Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst
Job Description
This role involves managing the accounts receivable process, which includes collecting mail, collaborating with project managers for necessary information, creating and maintaining intricate spreadsheets, generating job numbers, and tracking billing. You will also be responsible for reaching out to clients and mailing bills. As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will enter approved customer invoices into Foundation Software and upload them to customer portals, manage AR aging, follow up on outstanding invoices, and support collections. Additionally, you will reconcile accounts receivable transactions and assist with month-end closing tasks.
Responsibilities
Enter approved customer invoices in Foundation Software and upload to customer portals.Manage AR aging, follow up on outstanding invoices, and support collections.Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and assist with month-end closing.Update the Foundation job database and maintain company job audits, providing documentation as needed.Apply payments, scan checks, and record daily deposits.Prepare monthly billing reports and coordinate pending approvals with Project Managers.Essential Skills
5+ years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in the construction industry.Proficiency with Foundation, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar software, with Foundation as a plus.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.Knowledge of progress billing, AIA billing, and retainage.Work Environment
This is a 100% in-office position within a team consisting of one AR person and four AP individuals. The work environment may involve interactions with blue-collar individuals who are straightforward in their communication. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
