Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing invoice processes, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and reconciling discrepancies. This role involves applying payments to customer accounts, resolving payment issues, and overseeing collections. The analyst will generate financial reports, analyze aged debt, and provide insights on spending performance while utilizing Sage Intacct to streamline accounts receivable workflows.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and validate financial data.Reconcile cash receipts and resolve payment issues.Monitor outstanding balances and initiate contact with customers.Recommend credit limit adjustments as necessary.Generate weekly and monthly financial reports.Analyze aged debt and advise on spend performance.Utilize Sage Intacct to automate accounts receivable workflows.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Sage Intacct.Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.Familiarity with financial systems.Understanding of credit/debit, write-offs, and payment lifecycles.Ability to make timely decisions aligned with business goals.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Problem-solving skills for investigating billing errors and recommending process improvements.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliation.Knowledge in cash application, deduction, data entry, and reporting.Work Environment
The role is based onsite in the office five days a week until the analyst is comfortable with the work. The position begins as a contract, with potential for further opportunities.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
